Hey there, dancers, athletes and movers!

I’m Lily Hicks, the founder and owner of Vital Motion Physical Therapy, and I am beyond excited to welcome you into my world! If we haven’t met yet, let me give you the inside scoop on who I am, why I do what I do, and how I can help you keep moving through a fulfilling and pain-free life.


From the Stage to the Sidelines (In the Best Way Possible!)

This journey of mine into physical therapy started in the dance world. My love for movement started early—like, three-years-old-in-a-tutu early. Once I got over my stage fright, I was hooked! I trained in classical ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary, dancing up to 25 hours a week and performing some of my favorite roles like the Snow Princess in The Nutcracker, Kitri in Don Quixote, and the Black Swan in Swan Lake.


But as much as I loved performing, I realized my true passion wasn’t on stage—it was on the sidelines. I wanted to understand how our bodies work, how we can move better, and most importantly, how we can keep doing what we love without pain or injury.


Merging Art & Science

That passion led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from Eastern Illinois University and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin. Now, I get to merge my love for movement with the science behind how we move to help. Whether you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone looking to feel better and move with ease, I am now equipped with the tools to help you live your best life!

At Vital Motion, we focus on a three-step approach: Rejuvenate, Recover, and Rebuild. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, looking to enhance your performance, or just want to understand your body better, my goal is to provide personalized care and tailored strategies that make sense for YOU.


Beyond the clinic, you can find me exploring coffee shops, hiking Colorado’s gorgeous trails, skiing in the winter, or spending time in the Pilates studio. Movement is a part of who I am, and I’m all about helping others embrace it too.
